This guy is an idiot of the highest order. Conservative “Morning Joe” guy Joe Scarborough (sp?) howled with laughter watching Glenn Beck cry. Liberal blogger Bob Cesca (one of my favorites) said that, despite his well-documented differences with Scarborough, he had the exact same reaction.
The man put out a “novel” last year called “The Christmas Sweater”, following the regrettable practice of well-known popular writers doing small Christmas-themed books. (Some such writers I generally admire have done it, i.e. Christopher Moore; some writers who I’d never read but like personally did it too, like Dottie Frank. And then a bunch of other writers who ride the spectrum of irritated through pissed off did it too. Dean f-ing Koontz?) It sold distressingly well in our store, though there were enough good things also selling well to balance the equation.
Anyway, I guess my point is that if ignorance were Cheerios, Glenn Beck would be General Mills.
