Err, seriously? You want a collection of a bunch of sci-fi novels from the 50s? They will likely just annoy you to distraction.
That said, I have read both Double Star and The Stars My Destination, and they are justifiably classics of the genre. And Double Star does include one of the greatest quotes ever, about how the main character is “as impossible to remember as the true face of the immortal Alec Guinness.”
Yeah, I do, but at least as much for fetish object reasons as literary ones. Plus, I haven’t read most of them.
If they threw in digital copies for my Kindle, too, I’d have ordered it already. Maybe.
