Just finished the novel last night. Fantastic. Picked it up late in the game after reading “The Thousand Autumns of Jacob de Zoet.”
“Cloud Atlas” is like the wondrous love child of “If on a Winter’s Night a Traveler” and “The Crying of Lot 49,” with some Umberto Eco thrown in the mix, too.
