Sally and I just finished season 1. Sally does not always like crime drama on TV (though it’s her favorite genre in fiction–go figure) but she has been riveted by Breaking Bad. I am very much looking forward to season 2. The creator, Vince Gilligan, used to work for the X Files, and the very best episodes were invariably written by him. So no spoilers!

I watched seasons 1 and 2 on borrowed DVDs this summer, and then 3 and 4 on Netflix streaming since then, and dove into 5 via iTunes over the weekend. It just keeps getting better.
