Well, you know, first-degree murder remains illegal pretty much everywhere. I laugh at idiot Randall Terry for thinking this psycho deserved a chance to tell his side of the story. Legally, none of that mattered; the relevant facts were that he admitted killing Dr. Tiller and admitted planning it in advance. Pretty much a textbook case; why, again, did this trial take three weeks?
The good news is that the jury came back after 37 minutes, which is pretty much only enough time to brew coffee and elect a foreman. At no point did any of them consider anything other than conviction.
