  1. Okay, having whipping boys is generally a good thing, but did anyone mention that Texas is not the southeast? It takes more for a state than being in the southern half of the country and having a lot of rednecks (probably more than AL, MS, and GA combined!) to fit into the SEC. I mean, goddamn, what’s next? Oklahoma? Boise State? I propose all existing SEC teams (yes, even including the loathsome Gators) be able to take extra shots sans penalties at Aggie players to punish them for their presumption.

  2. True enough, but in all fairness Texas is also not Pacific.

However, I wholeheartedly agree with your suggestion!

  3. SEC never offered. Just another example of Aggies trying to get out of the Shadow of UT and make themselves relevant. Aggies really have no excuses for their substandard performance on the gridiron, except of course that they suck. Most of this SEC crap was to try and find a way to pay for the 20 Mil they are in Hawk for their athletics dept. Having built two new arenas without the benefit of a money making football program has sent them to borrow from their Academics fund. Interestingly enough they recently opened an accounting school and law school. Seems their Athletics department need to attend.

  4. Well, sorry old bean, looks like it ain’t happening. I think the SEC has all the teams it needs, until the lame ACC disintegrates and the Southern teams flock to the SEC.
