    Cool trick though I agree with the comments, driving it to a hill or top of a parking garage…

  2. The article makes the note that he prepared initially for a flood of X feet, which he could handle by raising the car in the garage. After the flood began, though, the news came that it would be MUCH HIGHER, and by that point it was too late to drive to higher ground.

    Hence: Boat bladders.
