I have read this book. It’s somewhat interesting, but given Bob’s desire to be literary and the help he got from Michael Azerrad (sp?), it should be a better book. Mostly it just shows that Bob is kind of a dick, although I will concede that he is at least honest with himself and his readers about this. I’m a very big Husker Du fanboy (and one for Bob solo as well as Sugar), and I found it to be pretty tiresome reading. You’d be better served re-reading (because of course you’ve read it, and I don’t wanna know if you haven’t) Azerrad’s sublime “Our Band Could Be Your Life” instead.
