Bugatti vs. McLaren

It had to happen, and of course it's Top Gear who've done it.

The Bugatti is the obvious winner, regardless of which wins the race. It's visionary. The McLaren is just a well done me-too design. The McLaren wins the quarter mile, the Bugatti wins the mile, and the dumbass who buys either one should have his nuts removed.

I'd buy them a beer for bettering society with their discretionary income. McLaren gets a tip of the cap for competing with less money.

Didn't the Top Gear guy point out that the McLaren has appreciated in value to 2MM quid? That makes it MORE expensive than the Bugatti in 2009 prices, though I take your point that its 500K GBP initial price (from the mid 90s) is a smaller number than the current price of the Veyron.

Heh. Also, you can get 175 Hayabusas for the price of 1 Veyron.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. But how does that Hayabusas compare to the Veyron from 186mph to 253mph? Oh wait . . . it doesn't go faster than 186mph.

you think the Hayabusa would make it around a track as fast? Would think Bugatti would win on traction. Once saw an article that pitted a ninja versus a Viper. Viper won. Of course a Ninja is not a Hayabusa. And a Viper is not a Veyron but then again a Viper just broke the track record in Nurburing.

Good news Frank diesel inventories are growing as are imports. Prices should react in the coming weeks.

Cagers..pth!

Drop a turbo on for four grand and busa is running 256! 16 grand..bikes FTMFW!

busa on a track..ok not so good. Ninja like track and posing at Laguna..busa likes straight lines and pimpin' at Starbucks.
